Account Deletion
SwiGram allows users to permanently delete their account directly from within the app.
How to delete your account
- Open Profile.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Enter your password to confirm.
- Confirm the deletion.
Important
- If you are the owner of one or more groups, you must delete those groups before deleting your account.
- After your account is deleted, you cannot recover it.
What data is deleted?
When you delete your account:
- Your Firebase Authentication account is permanently deleted.
- Your user profile is deleted.
- You are removed from all group member lists.
- You are removed from administrator lists.
- Your pending join requests are removed.
What data is not deleted?
Messages that you previously sent in groups are not automatically deleted, because they belong to the conversation history of all participants.
